Price List
The pricing list for Hands of Inspiration will vary and will be dependant on government subsidies and travel costs. All Massages are mobile.
In Home Massage (Regular Rates):
Full Body Massage (approximately 1 hr - 1hr 20 mins.)

Half Body Massage (approximately 45 mins - 1 hr) - Upper body & back, neck, shoulders , arms & head.

Mobile Service:
I offer a mobile service for people in rehabilitation, people with disabilities, acquired brain, terminal illness, also for hospital visits and the elderly living in their own home or in aged care. Special rates apply for pension and Government Packages as detailed below.

My mobile massages are detailed to the persons requirements. Hospital visits must have approval by the patients Doctor and the Hospital. There is NO CHARGE for travelling within the Launceston area, outside the Launceston are ranges from $15 dependant on distance. All massages are by appointment only. *All massages are strictly therapeutic only. Wendy has all security checks, first aid, insurance, ACM qualifications & I.I.C.T membership. This allows her to work in the industry that she is passionate about, as well as helping people.
Other Services Offered
Corporate Massage:
Hands of Inspiration offers corporate massage (in work) to clients. For this service the rate is $1 per minute. These massages are done at the workplace whether you are sitting at a desk or whether a massage chair is brought in for the theraputic experience. Massage for Dementia Patients:
Wendy is passionate about helping the elderly who are suffering from conditions such as dementia. Massage of the hands and feet can be extremely beneficial to this type of patient because it's non invasive and it involves the warmth of human connection.
Benefits of massage for dementia patients:
- Optimising sleeping patterns
- Decrease in anxiety levels
- Creates a calm and relaxed patient
- Pain relief from arthritis and other conditions
In less than five minutes, the physiological benefits have been proven to reduce cortisol levels and agitated behaviour. Further studies have also revealed that ten minutes of foot massage can reduce behaviour issues such as verbal aggression, wandering and repetitive movements.
